Shining a Light on Women’s Health
Every October, Sauk Prairie Healthcare will shine a light on women’s health. Please help light our communities pink to help raise awareness and honor someone in your life who has been impacted by breast cancer. Pick up your free pink light bulb while supplies last from Sauk Prairie Hospital Gift Shop, Lodi Clinic, Plain Clinic, River Valley Clinic, Wellspring and Wisconsin Heights Clinic and install it outside your home.
Be sure to follow us on Facebook and share photos of your pink lights using #IShineOn!
Last year, Sauk Prairie Healthcare unveiled Walk-In Wednesdays, a unique opportunity for women to receive their annual screening mammogram at Sauk Prairie Hospital with no appointment. The goal: to improve access to this important screening so there’s no reason to put it off, and ultimately, to save lives. In the last six months, nearly 80 women have received their annual mammogram screening through Walk-In Wednesdays.
If you’re due for an annual mammogram screening, visit Sauk Prairie Hospital for Walk-In Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or you can call the Diagnostic Imaging Center at 608-643-7274 to schedule an appointment.
